Originally built
as a farmhouse by a woollen merchant almost 200 years ago
'The White Horse Inn' served the tiny community of Goodshaw
as a public house until 1958, when it became a private dwelling.
Since we moved in
(in 1976) we have spent many happy (and otherwise!!) hours
and years renovating and refurbishing it to combine the comforts
of modern living with an atmosphere of a different age.
